Small warning + contest promotion + features

Hey guys

Had a huge day of photographing yesterday so just warning you you're about to be slightly bombarded with photos Took this gorgeous little bug that was resting on a rose in our yard in the morning, then ventured out to Wentworth Falls and took some landscapes, a macro or two and some ducks and then bumped into my brother, SIL and niece and nephew at the lake so ended up taking lots of them, hehe. And then went up to Katoomba street and down to Echo Point to take some nightscapes for a competition I'm entering. So I had a very versatile day of photography, hehe, and I think I wound up with quite a lot of good shots

A Moment Contest

This contest is going to be all about moments in time. I know what you're thinking - technically every photo is a moment in time, but I don't want to see photos of just anything. I want to see moments that are special or exciting or emotional or thrilling or significant - photos that pinpoint a particular moment - no matter how big or small they are. This could range from a child hugging his dog to a race car crashing to two friends having a coffee to a kiss shared between lovers to an airplane landing to someone kicking a football.

So, send me some moments

Guidelines-

- The photo can be new or old, I don't mind either way
- You can only enter one photo
- I'd love you to put thought into your entry - don't just send me the first thing you can find
- Try to enter your best work
- The contest starts now and finishes at the end of the year - 31st of December, 12am EST I know, it's a long time to run a contest for, but I want this to be big. And I want to collect as many moments as I possibly can. I also want to allow time for prizes to accumulate
- You're free to change your entry once after you've entered
- I'd prefer that your entry is at least 800px on its longest side and contains its EXIF data
- Be creative!
