Hey guys

Just wanted to drop you all a line, I feel really out of touch with everybody I haven't really spoken to anyone in weeks, or uploaded anything for that matter. I apologise for being really slack with comments and faves and things, my health is awful at the moment and to be honest, I've been sleeping a ridiculous amount. But I am missing you all a lot and hoping you're all well. I haven't picked up my camera in ages, but the weather here is awful and everything is dead I am going to Melbourne Zoo in July though, so I promise at least a few good shots from that trip. I think that's about it from me...I didn't get a place in the ArtStreet competition but I had a lot of fun shooting my entry Might have better luck next year.

Anyway, secondly I just want to give a small feature to two good friends of mine who both have birthdays this month: *djRimzi and =matt-h-mitchell . Hope you guys both have/had wonderful days and get spoilt absolutely rotten. Here's a small feature from me-

A Moment Contest

This contest is going to be all about moments in time. I know what you're thinking - technically every photo is a moment in time, but I don't want to see photos of just anything. I want to see moments that are special or exciting or emotional or thrilling or significant - photos that pinpoint a particular moment - no matter how big or small they are. This could range from a child hugging his dog to a race car crashing to two friends having a coffee to a kiss shared between lovers to an airplane landing to someone kicking a football.

So, send me some moments

- The photo can be new or old, I don't mind either way
- You can only enter one photo
- I'd love you to put thought into your entry - don't just send me the first thing you can find
- Try to enter your best work
- The contest starts now and finishes at the end of the year - 31st of December, 12am EST I know, it's a long time to run a contest for, but I want this to be big. And I want to collect as many moments as I possibly can. I also want to allow time for prizes to accumulate
- You're free to change your entry once after you've entered
- I'd prefer that your entry is at least 800px on its longest side and contains its EXIF data
